This site provides a service that connects prospective tenants with landlords and property owners in the Roanoke Virginia area and surrounding communities. Landlords post their listings and they immediately become available to prospective tenants who have internet access. This site also provides Links to some information for tenants and landlords such as property rental tips etc.

If you are a prospective tenant you can begin your search now by clicking Search.

This brings up a page with the heading "Search for Rental Property" Then click on search at the bottom of that page without entering any data. You will see a list of about 20 properties for rent in the Roanoke and surrounding areas. When you click on "View" on the left of the screen you will see a "Property Details" page with particulars about the house or apartment. Then go to the Contact Information in the bottom right hand corner of that page where you will find the person to contact about the property by phone or email.

If you are a Landlord or Property Manager you should Register so that you may list your properties on our site. If you have already registered you can Login where indicated in the top menu.

Special Note To Property Owners and Managers.
This site has been on-line for only a few months now and the number of properties listed and displayed in response to a search goes up and down as properties are rented and new properties are listed. We encourage you to experiment with how the site works by registering and listing at least one property. You will note that any information you place on the site is under your total control and can be deleted or changed by you at any time. We urge you to post your rental properties here so that you will make the site an early success. As more properties are listed here there will be a greater incentive for tenants to use it when looking for a place to rent. We have placed a small advertisement for the site on page 91 of THE ROANOKER magazine issue of Nov/Dec '04. This site has the potential to save you money in your advertising expense.

Now Craigslist has come to Roanoke and we welcome it. We hope Craigslist meets many of your needs for posting and searching for residential rental property.
